A white round neck t-shirt tugged in a blue jeans, black shoes, a piece of string around your wrist and if you can get a pair of sunglasses, will be enough to win any girls' heart, coupled with a genuine smile and sparkling eyes.
I did that to my wife Saliza, but instead of black shoes and a pair of sunglasses, I wore military black boots and white anti glare glasses, when I first met her. Until now she will still ask me to wear that same style when we go out on dates.

~Adding a leather jacket to your simple wear will increase your look tremendously ~
Looking good is an overall picture you portray to people whom you want to get the attention you require and respect you think you deserve, especially from girls. A guy too doesn't want to be called a Nerd or a Duff by girls, especially in college. So what would he do?

Watch 'The Duff' - a cool movie!
He turns to fashion.
How can he afford good quality clothing when money is never enough, especially for food?

Australian Aviation College Parafield South Autralia.
Batch MAS 6 - Year 1992
When I was a student at the Australian Aviation College in Adelaide back in 1992, our lodging, food and education were provided, and we were given an allowance of AUD 150 a month. During that time, a pack of cigarette will cost you between AUD 5 to AUD 8 a pack. There were not much to spend.

~ Alone and desperate for attention ~

Back then, I never heard about 'The Salvation Army', used clothing or collectibles. I have to save money for about 6 months just to get a good surfer style sweater which cost me around AUD 120 to purchase. During that 6 months, I was just using the jacket provided by our college.

The Parafield Boys were always looking good at our Aviation College (AAC). It was hard for me to fit in. As shown in the picture, it was only at the end of my flying school days I get to wear the clothing I like.

Years of flying didn't change or teach me much about appreciation of quality used clothing (I never look at it even once) as I kept buying expensive new clothing (which don't normally suit me) or the cheap imitation branded clothing which doesn't last that long.
If I can turn back the time, I won't change much of my life as that is what made me who I am now. But the little things that I would change will be, to try and find out about good quality used clothing for less and start collecting stuffs with the extra money I have.
A little advise, especially now, after getting involved seriously in the used clothing business ~

For college guys out there! There are many options for you guys now as there are many online platforms where you can shop around for good quality used clothing. The one we are on, is one of the best around - carousell.com.
You can just simply get a good clothing from RM 20 to RM 200 or more, and you yourself can sell it back (sometimes even at a profitable price) once you are bored and thinking of getting a new one!

End of Topic
Anyway, that was life for me as I have to learn those stuffs the hard way! Still, life was never easy but life is always a good adventure of happiness and pain, a journey that I treasure for always..
