The first year of our marriage we stayed at Nazvilla Cottage Sepang, helping our parents to set up their Bed & Breakfast business.

We all started from scratch as we don't have much. With a very limited amount of money to start, forced us to look for second hand goods as the alternative. We went to look for goods from a store that sells used hotel linen and furniture. This was the exposure that have given us a new insight on using second hand goods. We found out that most of the used hotel linen and furniture are quality products. There are signs that they have been used of course!, but the made and the quality of the products if compared to the price that they are selling, is so affordable and really a good buy! Somehow the one year experience helping our parents taught us a lot about appreciating used quality products which then helped us to appreciate more other used goods around us.
And a year later, Saliza got pregnant .........
It was easy when it was just the two of us.
Less is good.
Less is enough.
But.
Owh how we gonna live with the new third person in our life? Thinking not to burden our parents with the upcoming baby, we prayed that there will come an opportunity where we can get prepared for our baby.
The opportunity came knocking and we accepted it. For nine months we stayed at a friend's place, working and accompanied him creating his little garden of eden at his new home. This was when both of us got the chance to work on our creativity and being self taught on cement art. Arnaz did a lot of cement artworks during the nine months of Saliza's pregnancy.
As the due date getting closer, we got panicked as we haven't found the best place to do home birth. We looked, searched and googled, and within just two weeks before the due date, we got a nice small bungalow by the lake in a far away place from the city for only RM 700 rental/month (enough for us to start our own small bed and breakfast).
We did have a second thought about the place as it is quite far from the city life. But it was the best choice we had so far and one thing about the place that was calling us to settle in was the lovely lake behind the house. The lake was not exactly mesmerizing like the one in movies. However we found it soothing and calming to have lots of water around our life.
One biggest challenge we had was, the owner made this house as the storage house that was surrounded by tall grass and lallang. Only god knows how one man with a 9 months pregnant wife and one helper who came in for five days turned this storage house into a basic home within two weeks!
A basic home just enough to deliver our little girl Lisa.
On the third of June 2015, at 1.30pm, our little Lisa was safely born by her daddy's bare hand and witnessed by her mom.
Thus, our second chapter in life BEGINS .......
